Darwinian Evolution Symposium

The Year of Darwin

What Will You Do
To Equip Your Church
Refute The Lies?

The year 2009 is the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin and the 150th anniversary of his famous book, On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life.

Charles Darwin was born February 12, 1809, and the first edition of his book was published on November 24, 1859.

Why should this news be important to Christians? Because Darwinian evolution directly opposes and contradicts God’s Word, the Bible.

In 2006 over 10,000 pastors signed “The Clergy Letter Project” acknowledging the validity of evolution as true science and over 580 churches participated in “Evolution Sunday,” attempting to show that evolution and religion are compatible. It is true that evolution and religion are compatible. The question is: which religion? The answer is: atheism or secular humanism. That is what is taught in our public and many parochial schools.

2009 will undoubtedly see many evolutionist organizations promoting evolution as truth more than ever before. Many schools will feature special programs and emphases on Darwinian evolution.

Students will be indoctrinated with the teaching that there is no God and that they exist because of millions of years of accidents – chance plus billions of random mutations.

The ideal response to these troubling thoughts is to take our churches back to the Bible. Over the years, little in-depth teaching has been done on the subject of Biblical Creation. That is partly or even largely due to almost all of us being schooled in Darwinian evolution. That approach to science is even taught in some seminaries.

Since our children are being indoctrinated with secular humanism and its partner, Darwinian evolution, we need to give them a firm grounding in the truth about origins. They need to be taught the undeniable fact that God’s Word is Truth, and that the Bible and true science are completely compatible, in spite of what many “scientists” are saying.

How can you begin to engage this problem? We have some ideas for you.

     1. First, educate yourself and your education staff in the tenets of Biblical Creation.

     2. Implement programs to teach your children AND your adult church members.

To get you started in the right direction, we are offering a two-day seminar to introduce you to Biblical Creation, why it is true, why it needs to be taught and how it relates to The Authority of Scripture. The seminar will provide evidence of the negative aspects of Darwinian evolution and its effects on youth, adults, the Church and our culture and society.

Seminar size: We like to limit the number of participants to either three men, three women or one married couple (no small children for the seminar, please, but sixth grade and up are encouraged).

 Housing is provided as follows:

The location for the seminar is:
