Lakeview Music School

Lakeview Music School

Lakeview Music School offers private lessons to students from beginner through high school.  Lessons are also available for adults who want to learn to play an instrument, but never had the chance, or for those who would like to improve their skills.

Instruments taught include saxophone and clarinet, trumpet and French horn.  Lakeview Music School is located in the home of David and Patricia Pence, overlooking historic Lake Hillsboro.

The goal of Lakeview Music School instructors David and Patricia is to encourage, motivate and teach students to develop their musical ability so music will be a wonderful, enjoyable part of their lives.  An early love for music can become a lifelong hobby or profession that is life-enriching and rewarding, and the more proficient one becomes, the more enjoyable and rewarding music will be.

Lessons will emphasize teaching and improving foundational music skills to enable students to progress toward excellence on their instruments.  Students are encouraged to bring their band and contest music to lessons so they can play their parts to the best of their ability, thereby making band fun and rewarding.

David and Patricia are professional musicians, having a wide variety of musical experiences that include college, U.S. Army, community and college bands and their own music ministry for seventeen years.
